Pedro Sanchez will have to cut short his European tour to promote the recognition of the Palestinian state as he resigns from his post as Prime Minister. His resignation comes after a Magisterial inquiry into his wife’s private dealings was announced. His wife Bgona Gomez is being accused of using her position to obtain favourable business contracts and sponsorships. Sanchez had just formed a government by awarding an amnesty to Catalan separatists who conspired with Russia to break the Spanish state in two.
