Israel debates incoming arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu by the International Criminal Court

Various Israeli press reports claim that Benjamin Netanyahu is to be issued an arrest warrant by the International Criminal Court along with various other Israeli top government and military leaders including for IDF’s chief Herzi Halevi. The ICC prosecutor Karim A. Khan investigating war crimes by Hamas and the IDF had previously warned that Israeli officials were suspected of war crimes.

Meanwhile, in Tel Aviv tens of thousands of demonstrators are out in the streets demanding Benjamin Netanyahu’s resignation and an immediate settlement for the return of the remaining 100 hostages held by Hamas.
