Young Maltese scientist gets £1.7 million investment for his insect-feed start-up

Something positive. I know Thomas Farrugia from my days at the University of Malta and haven’t spoken to him ever since so it’s good to see he’s making it.

Thomas Farrugia is the founder of a start-up called Beta Bugs which produces animal feed from insects. His start-up has just secured £1.7 million in funding from investors.

I wish Thomas well and I hope he keeps making us proud with his research and products (I am sure he will because he is very smart).
