Kurt Buhagiar’s villa was fully funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development

Thanks to an eagle-eyed reader, now we also know that Kurt Buhagiar received another €150,000 from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development to build his villa in Naxxar on agricultural land. Simply by inverting his name and surname’s position, Kurt Buhagiar appears on this document with a gap between his entries.

Basically, this means that Kurt Buhagiar received up to €212,000 in funds from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development to build his own residential villa. The Planning Authority also sanctioned this fraud by officially approving the villa as a sheep farm (it is not).

Kurt Buhagiar is a corrupt and fraudulent Labour Party activist and contractor who is being charged with the involuntary death of one of his workers.
