Cristian Chelu: the accountant holding big money for the Saudis in Deustche Bank

In Yorgen Fenech’s discussions with Farshid Ahvan to transfer up to €10 billion from Deutsche Bank and Saudi Arabia to Banque Havilland, it transpired that the unnamed Saudi billionaire’s account in Deutsche Bank was in the name of an unassuming accountant from Romania called Cristian Chelu. It is interesting to note that Deutsche Bank would open a bank account for a Saudi billionaire in someone else’s name because the practice is illegal in Europe as bank accounts can’t be anonymous or fronted by someone else for anonymity.
