It takes some people a lot of effort and pondering to do the right thing, but it’s still good when they get it.

Professionals and stakeholders of public cultural institutions should not allow the government to use these entities for partisan purposes and appointments have to be made in consultation with the stakeholders. This case with Norma Saliba and the Maltese Council is not unique and is similar to many other cultural public entities.
