
Ex-Prime Minister Joseph Muscat had to resign from office in disgrace over allegations that his office was involved in the murder and cover-up of Daphne Caruana Galizia. Joseph Muscat also received a noteworthy price for Corrupt Individual of the Year by the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project.
The majority of people were decent enough to rid him goodbye once and for all, but those who had benefited from Muscat’s corruption, favouritism, and rent-seeking felt the obligation to bid him an honorable farewell, and among these people there was Johann Grech, Malta’s Film Commissioner.
