18,000+ Russians dead in Ukraine’s counter-offensive

The Ukrainian Defence Ministry has recently released a video urging an information black-out on its counter-offensive against Russia.

Recently released official figures from Ukrainian and Russian sources confirm that more than 18,000 Russian troops have died in the first days of the counter-offensive in the Zaporizhya region where the Ukrainians are advancing. There are also frequent reports of Russian troops deserting from their posts.
