Top police sources confirm Carmelo Abela was a suspect of the HSBC heist

I am informed by reliable sources that Carmelo Abela is indeed the prime suspect as the HSBC employee who helped the robbers gain access to the bank in the infamous and failed bank heist. Carmelo Abela was also interrogated about the heist by the police but he was never placed under arrest.

I do not know whether George Degiorgio is telling the truth about other matters, and there is no doubt that what he is doing is very self-serving and should be treated with great suspicion and scepticism.

Of course, I’m not saying that Carmelo Abela is guilty, but if Carmelo Abela is saying that he was never investigated by the police, he is lying. I can not confirm whether he is still treated as a prime suspect.
