It would be interesting to understand what software they will be using, or if they will employ some local company with tenders and develop this software locally (which I’m sure will be a waste).
I would advise caution here! Based on what we know so far, You can’t rush to conclusions saying it’s just a data scraper… Even Google is also ‘just’ a data scraper, yet the algorithms it developed took years and millions of dollars to reach their current state of advancement…
The PL would have been much wiser if they developed this during their crypto craze (given all the money they wasted on their projects), it would have made perfect sense to use a blockchain database to store and process such data, and create a regulatory framework based on that… an interesting read: https://www.ciat.org/blockchain-in-tax-administrations/?lang=en…
It’s funny, how the pl comes with the most absurd ideas, based on the current buzz world, when we could have been pioneers in the area, potentially paving the way for other countries. But the PL had made no real use of blockchain databases, most of their ideas were mediocre at best…
