John Portelli resigns from the National Book Council

I am informed that yesterday evening, John Portelli has resigned from the National Book Council.

John Portelli is a Maltese-Canadian author and a professor of education at the University of Toronto. His academic work is mostly inspired by the critical pedagogies of Peter McLaren and Portelli has also been a long-time consultant of the Ministry of Education.
