Nowadays, Abela is playing freely with his ill-gotten wealth and he’s also building a hotel.
Can you imagine what would have happened had Robert Abela not won the Labour leadership race and the authorities recovered all the ill-gotten wealth from the corruption of the Joseph Muscat years? Of course, like Joseph Muscat and many others who indulged in corruption, Robert Abela had no choice but to remain in power to protect himself. Now he enjoys the privileges of impunity he himself has allowed for all the corrupt Labour politicians.
