Interview with John Christmas (Part 2)

This is the second part of the interview with John Christmas, author of KGB Banker along with William Burton McCormick. In this second part of the interview, John speaks about current EU sanctions on Russia, the effects and results of EU banking regulation on money laundering and organised crime, and also about the fall-out or lack of as a result of the closure of Parex Bank and ABLV. On the latter, John speaks about how the then Prime Minister of Latvia, Valdis Dombrovskis covered up the illicit practices of Parex Bank with a fraudulent deal with the EBRD where the EBRD presumably bought a large stake in Parex Bank to reassure investors and the general public on the bank when what actually happened was that the Latvian government actually paid the EBRD to buy a stake in Parex Bank only for the EBRD to sell it later on to the Latvian government at a higher price.
