Robert Arrigo: a towering gentleman

There are very few politicians about whom I can say good things. Robert Arrigo is one of them and it’s not because of politics.

I have never met Robert Arrigo in my life nor have I ever corresponded with him.

What I know about him is through friends of mine who worked at his companies.

My friends have always told me what a great gentleman he was as an employer who apart from giving them decent salaries relatively compared to the industry, never shied away from intervening to directly help his employees when they faced very serious financial problems in their lives. When faced with very difficult circumstances, Robert Arrigo was there for his friends, employees, and allies. And he was a great benefactor.

A man who treats his workers well deserves respect. So rest in peace Robert Arrigo. May your inheritors preserve your values.
