Surprised that Robert Abela doesn’t appoint an acting Prime Minister that is announced through the Government Gazette as per protocol?
Robert Abela doesn’t trust anyone other than his father to run the show while he’s away. I have the intuitive feeling that George, Robert’s father doesn’t even trust his own son, and that is why Robert doesn’t trust many people. George knows his son is an idiot and Robert’s actions betray his insecurity about this.
For those that do not know this, and it is well-known within Labour circles, George Abela is the man behind Robert, his only consultant and confidant and basically, big daddy taking care of the little kid.
