Wanted: Statesman who takes unpopular decisions (the life of a woman depends on you)

By now, you may have all read the news that a woman risks dying after a miscarriage in Malta’s public hospital because doctors don’t want to terminate her fetus which can infect her body.

It’s the job of a statesman to rise up to the occasion and make good decisions which may be unpopular with his conservative audience. Robert Abela won’t do such a thing, he’s too busy living in his own fantasy world. Maybe, we should pressure the Health Minister, Chris Fearne and ensure that he has enough backing to make the right decisions.

I’m reproducing the statement t by Malta’s Doctor’s for Choice so as to present the exact facts of the situation.
