Clarifications on Medserv’s shares

It is not a common occurrence that stocks are delisted or suspended from Malta’s Stock Exchange, so yesterday’s suspension of Medserv’s shares from the MSE was news. However, the shares have only been suspended and not delisted as I previously stated, and will be listed once again after Medserv submits its accounts by the 15th of June. Shareholders and traders may be fuming for not being able to trade Medserv stocks, however, it seems that the delay is owed to a very unlucky accident. Medserv’s deputy CEO in charge of compiling accounts has suffered a serious accident in January and has been under intensive care.  The company statement says that he has been a victim of a serious hit and run accident. I sincerely wish him a full recovery.
