Europe has a new leader. And she’s Maltese.

The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola is standing up to the occasion and exceeding expectations. She is Maltese by the way. Actually, I’m a bit annoyed that she is exceeding expectations, forcing me to be her vocal supporter. Making fun of her as one of the many and typical incompetent Brussells politicians would have been more entertaining, but in all seriousness, I’m impressed. Would she be so idealistic had she been a commissioner and had executive power? Maybe not, but if she had executive power and acted upon the ideals she is invoking then we may very well become the world’s superpower again and dictators and autocrats would have to bend on their knees at our doorstep before asking for any appeasement.

Meanwhile, our Prime Minister hasn’t yet told us from where he is going to procure Malta’s energy supplies for the next five years. He did inform us of his agenda through via Twitter.

There is no comparison between these two people. One of them is useless. Guess who?
