Another victim of domestic violence

Rita Ellul is a woman who was murdered by her partner last Saturday. She had also filed a police report over domestic violence, and she is one of the many women murdered by their partners who had filed a report of domestic violence.

We need a public inquiry that explains to us why the police are failing to protect all these women. There is a clear and consistent history of women who file domestic violence reports and subsequently get murdered. The Police Commissioner has a lot to explain about how he is failing to protect all these women and bring perpetrators of domestic violence to justice.
